Hi, I’m Crissy!  I am the brains behind Crissy Metz Home & Lifestyle! I am the queen of finding the best deals, meticulous with lists and directions and have an eye for seeing the potential in all things.

Crissy Metz Home & Lifestyle shares budget living with successful women who want to shop, build and travel, while still saving for their future family! I’m a mid 30’s woman navigating life after divorce. I have a lot of ideas brewing for my life and home and quite a few lofty goals! I’ve always been a go getter and feel like I’ve hit my stride in life! I am here to help encourage you to grab that power tool, plan and take that trip and continue to dream big for both your home and lifestyle!

I live in the beautiful city of Charlotte, NC with my incredible boyfriend Steven and our 2 cats, Mirra and Bella! When not traveling for work or pleasure, I can be found planning and completing my next home DIY project, shooting pool and play golf with Steven, cheering on the Tar Heels, and spoiling our four-legged girls! I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2006 and I’m sure you’ll quickly observe my love of all things Carolina blue! It’s my favorite color when it comes to home decor!

I work full time in clinical research as an oncology clinical research associate and I’m just as equally submersed in home decor and DIY projects when I can. I spend a large amount of my work time traveling around the US. Prior to 2020, I averaged 200 flights and 80 nights in hotels each year and have learned a lot of travel tips and tricks over the years! Although travel looks a bit different these days, I look forward to traveling more often and helping you all to travel with ease!
